Meet Ian McCarthy

Thirty years in business. One system. Now it's software.

Ian is the president of Blue Claw Associates, a landscape and masonry contractor on Cape Cod, Boston's South Shore, and Nantucket. He started in accounting on Nantucket back in 1993, moved into landscaping in 1996, and co-founded the National Basketball League of Canada along the way.

He launched Blue Claw Associates in 2018 and grew it from $0 to more than $12 million in six and a half years — founding or acquiring six other companies, including Blue Water Pools & Spas and Boston Tennis & Sports Court along the way.

The tools he built to run all of it — estimating, pricing, cash flow, purchasing, an AI command center — became The Blue Claw Group. Same fight you're in. Same numbers. Now built into software you can actually use.
